I'm at the GDC this week and will be hanging out at the Indie Games Summit Monday and Tuesday, and the IGF booth some of the rest of the time (Reflexive's own Axiom Overdrive is a finalist).
I kept somewhat copious notes of the first day of the Indie summits. There were some great presentations, including a very solid basic marketing presentation by Introversion. You can ready my highlights, responses and all my notes at GameTunnel (http://www.gametunnel.com/articles.php?id=673)
As well a sneak peak look at the game I've been working on is now up over on my Reflexive blog. The game is Airport Mania: First Flight, and I describe it as a mix between Aerobiz (one of my favorite SNES games) and Diner Dash. The game is more click-management than sim. YOu can see a bunch of not quite final pics of the game at Reflexive (http://www.reflexive.com/index.php?PAGE=Blog&BID=162)
Oh, and if you are at the GDC, be sure to say 'hi.'

I just stumbled upon your website as I was doing research for a "project" of sorts. I'm incredibly interested in the casual game market. I'd like to talk to you about a few things as you seem to be very knowledgeable. I didn't see a place to email you from so I guess commenting will have to suffice for now.
Generally speaking, I would like to create a website with casual games on it. Nothing new there. The way in which I want to pursue it though is very different than current models.
If you would be interested in discussing a few things with me, I would greatly appreciate it. I'll be checking back frequently.

I really appreciated your notes from Monday's GDC sessions. Did you happen to take more on Tuesday or at any other sessions? I would love to see links to anything you may have. Thanks!
I didn't quite finish my Tuesday notes...but I should do so...and post them...a month late!
As for the direct contact, you can get me through GameTunnel or Reflexive my reflexive email is rcarroll at reflexive.net.
